Beauty & Wellness
More and more women travelers especially from the western world come to Southeast Asia not just for shopping, not just the beach and the tourist spots; they also grab the opportunity to enhance their beauty and wellness. There are plethora of options from foot spa, hair spa, hair cut, facial, to all kinds of massages and spa treatment.
Every girl loves to get pampered right? Pampering oneself is one way of rejuvenating women from their toxic life at work and at their home front. Women need to be pampered once in a while to boost their well being and alleviate their moods. Well, what better place for it than heading to South East Asia.
Finding a good place to get your hair done or a decent massage can sometimes seem to be more trouble than it’s worth. There are often so many shops around offering the same thing it’s hard to know which one! A great way to find a good beautician is to ask some women at your hotel or the receptionist. They might know of a fantastic place you would never have found yourself. Going to a tourist information center might help too as there are often brochures of spas around town.
I guess the main thing to remember is not to compromise too much on price and quality depending on what you want to get done. Meaning $1-2 is ok for a manicure or pedicure, but think twice if it were for a wax treatment! In Cambodia you can have foot massage for $2, aroma massage for $5, maybe you can just check it out and see if its worth a try.
If you truly want to indulge head to a resort or swanky hotel in town. These usually have a Spa and other services within their property and can offer some great treatments for a fraction of what you would pay back home.
So go on…treat yourself…you deserve it!
